Hello, I am Adwoa Cleland, Steward of Closer Walk Lifestyle, formerly Everything Journals and More.
Three years ago, my life took an unexpected turn. My corporate career came to an end, and shortly after, I lost my father. Everything that once seemed secure suddenly fell apart. In the middle of the confusion and grief, a dear friend and mentor suggested that I venture into selling Christian literature. At the time, I didn’t fully understand the weight of that suggestion or the divine purpose behind it. Out of respect, and with little conviction, I took the first hesitant step.
From Uncertainty to Calling
Looking back, I now see that God had been writing this story all along. What began as a small, uncertain effort—selling journals, Bibles, devotionals, and Christian books—has blossomed into a ministry-driven business. Today, we help believers strengthen their walk with God and find hope through His Word.
Faith Through the Journey
The journey has not been easy. There have been moments of doubt, exhaustion, and countless lessons along the way. Yet, through every challenge, faith and obedience have carried us forward. I have come to understand that my “yes” to God was never just about me—it is about the many lives He intended to touch through that obedience. Lives are being impacted, hearts renewed, minds transformed, and faith restored through every resource we share.

Honestly, I love the book. I love the perspective of the author. Pointing out the tiniest and letting us know how big the roles those tiny decisions play in our lives. I mean, I'm familiar with some stories, but I read this book and I'm like, "Whoa, I didn't look at it that way." My girls love it too. You should see us discussing it😂😂
